CommentThis cemetery is located 400 ft south of Cowesett Road at telephone pole #112, 150 feet west of the house. The cemetery is 105 ft x 125 ft, in fair condition, enclosed with a stone wall, containing 73 burials with 35 inscribed stones and 38 fieldstones. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. It is on the tax assessor’s map, Plat #239, Lot #12. James Arnold visited this lot 17 Sept. 1893 and noted, “on the Gorton farm near Waterman corner, neglected” (Vol. 3, p. 384). Recorded by John Sterling for a book on Warwick cemeteries.
