CommentLocated 770 feet north of South Road on the state rifle range. YOU MUST GET PERMISSION TO ENTER THIS PROPERTY. Walk in between pole #28 & #29 to Edward St. on right side 200 ft. up on a hill. James Arnold recorded this lot 21 Aug 1892, On the farm of Robert G Mawney in rear of his house and on a brow of the hill is a burial yard of the Mawney family. Outside the yard are two graves, one has rude markers, on the other a marble we read Catherine Mawney "colored woman" Recorded by Bruce MacGunnigle for a 1991 book on East Greenwich cemeteries.
