CommentThe Jedidiah Shaw Lot is on Gibson Hill Road at telephone pole #147. The cemetery is 80 ft x 70 ft, in fair condition, and enclosed with a stone wall. The historic cemetery sign has not been installed yet. There are 11 burials with seven inscribed stones and four fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited on 8 Aug. 1905 and noted, “On the same land [as Stephen Burlingame Lot-Coventry Historical Cemetery #5], in from the Plainfield Pike to Foster line, called the West Road or Line Road. Lot well walled on road side and on south and not on other sides. Lot overgrown with pine trees” (Vol. 6, Book B, page 1148). Charles and Martha Benns transcribed this cemetery in 1934, their #319. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
