CommentThis cemetery is located 20 ft. south of Maple Avenue at telephone pole # 12. It contains 2500 burials with 1775 inscriptions from 1844 to 1997. The map of this cemetery has no section numbers, only lot numbers. To aid in finding gravestones the sections were lettered from ‘A’ to ‘G’ going west to east and the section north of Maple Avenue was labeled ‘Z’. Map numbers were assigned to the gravestones starting in the northwest corner with #1 and proceeding down the west side of each section toward the south end. The south end comes at about #70 and numbering continues going north on the east side of each section. The highest number in each section is in the northeast corner. The numbering for section ‘Z’ starts at the southwest corner and continues around this ‘U’ shaped section. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
