The Waterman-Vaughn Cemetery is located on the north side of Waterman Hill Road at telephone pole #17. The westernmost section consists of mostly the Vaughn family, and the easternmost section is mostly the Waterman family. It is 80 ft x 100 ft, in good condition, and enclosed with a stone wall with an iron gate. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 100 burials with 80 inscribed stones and two fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited on 26 Jul. 1905 and noted, “On the Plainfield Pike, beside road, lot walled in fair order. Yard beginning to show neglect” (Vol. 6, Book A, page 1055). Grace G. Tillinghast added records to the Arnold transcript in 1930. Charles and Martha Benns visited this cemetery in 1931, their #31. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
