| Notes | TOMB "Erected to the Memory of Col. Eliphalet Slack and Family 1826" In 1890 the last member of the Slack family was placed in this tomb and the key thrown into the Meeting House Pond. The iron door has since rusted away and the opening was closed with brick. There was a blue slate ston showing an old woman sitting on a chair smoking a corn cob pipe. The stone disappeared before 1948. |
