CommentThis cemetery is located 125 feet south of Tuckertown Road at telephone pole # 2050. It is thirty feet square, in good condition, with no enclosure, and the historical cemetery sign is in fair condition. It contains 22 burials with eighteen inscribed stones and four fieldstones. James N. Arnold recorded this lot Oct. 17, 1880, his #190, “on land of Jeremiah P. Robinson west of Post Road in corner of lot otherwise unprotected a burial yard of the Brown family, lot in rather poor condition.” On Oct. 10, 1927, one month after the death of James N. Arnold, this cemetery was recorded by Adelaide Knight and Emma B. Shaw and the records were placed with the other Arnold records at the Knight Library [named for Adelaide Knight] in Providence. Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
