This lot is located 400 feet south of Maple Valley Road at telephone pole #93 and 330 feet west of Pomfret Way. The cemetery is 110 ft x 90 ft, in good condition, and enclosed with a stone wall with an iron gate. The historic cemetery sign is in poor condition. There are 73 burials with 51 inscribed stones and nine fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited on 25 Jul. 1905, “On the Col. Bowen place in sight of road, lot walled and in good order” (Vol. 6, Book A, page 1019). Additional burials recorded by Grace G. Tillinghast on 28 Oct. 1930. Charles and Martha Benns transcribed this cemetery in 1931, their #27. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
